Startup Factory Kickoff Meeting held.

On June 30, the businesses selected from the first call for applications for the Startup Factory program (33 projects, 40 businesses) came together for a Kickoff Meeting.

After an explanatory session for the selected businesses, a networking event was held, where the selected businesses were joined by J-Startup* companies and the committee members who recommended them. More than 80 people in total participated in the event.

There was much animated discussion among the selected businesses about future collaborations and people could be seen listening intently to the businesses’ pitches, making for a very lively gathering.

In this program, we will continue to pursue initiatives that will encourage collaborations between the businesses, with the aim of building centers for the support of design and prototyping to help startups to move toward mass production.
